Windows Movie Maker Keeps on Crashing!!

Hey guys,

Ive been using WMM for years tis great, but recently when i add all my clips
then try to add a bit of music the whole thing crashes.

AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer: 2.1.4026.0 ModName: ffdshow.ax
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 000764b0

Please help!

Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.

I've also seen a report that disabling the
ffdshow codec could be the fix. To accomplish
this...open Movie Maker and go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...Uncheck...
ffdshow / OK.
