Hello!

Can anyone help me with a problem I seem to be experiencing with WINDOWS
MOVIE MAKER?

I just can't figure out how to import video clips into a specific
collections folder. I made a new folder and gave it a name. I then imported
video clips, but each clip seemed to be on its own, rather than going
directly into the new folder (not sure if I am explaining this clearly
enough).

Anyway, I am trying to make a movie of a recent trip to the zoo, so I
clicked on 'new collection', changing the name of the collection to 'ZOO',
then I clicked on 'import video'. The video clips were imported successfully,
but I wanted them to go directly into the 'ZOO' folder! Instead they are
listed in the location drop down box with their numbers (e.g. DCSN2084)

I'm sure I'm doing something elementary wrong, but as a non ICT specialist,
I'm finding it hard to troubleshoot!

Anyone any ideas, if you can understand my gobbledygook above?!

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!

Just drag/drop the files into the
folder (collection) you want them in.

in Vista's Movie Maker they'll import to your selected collection... but in
XP importing a video clip always automatically goes into a new folder....

pictures and music files go into the selected folder...
