Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close.

WMM has been working fine since i got it, however, i changed the capture
information type from thumbnail to detail, and it came up with the error
message on the title of this thread. And now whenever i load up WMM, it
freezes and gives me the same message, i cnt even change it back to
thumbnail, any help

Try doing a System Restore to a
time before you made the change.

this might sound stupid, but how do i do that?
I have a Lenovo laptop, im tearing my hair out here
 
I did the system back-up, but still the same error, altought i used it
perfectly fine last night
although tonight i did use a firewire lead to capture video, would that have
anything to do with it?

If the restore fails...you may have to initiate
