Hi!

I have been Windows Movie Maker for a while, and lately when I am trying to
make a slideshow it freezes after I add the music (any music). Why is this
happening???

This has not happened before. I have window's XP and I have checked to
update it but it say It's already updated.

HELP ME!!!!

For projects including still shots and music...
(no video clips) PhotoStory 3 might be worth
a try:

Your current problem with Movie Maker could
be the result of compatibility issues with your
source files. Have a look at the following article:

I'm having the same wierd problem.

On one computer I can use MP3s fine (except VBR).

On another computer anytime I use an MP3 it crashes.

Both running XP and same version of movie maker

It's not that weird...Movie Maker is not
fully compatible with .mp3 files. Did
you read the following article?:

LOL well it's weird to me that it crashes on one computer and works fine on
another using the same source file and same version of WMM. (repeatedly)

But yeah I am having to convert to WMA in cases where the MP3 wont
work
==================
That's a good solution.

It's still a bit of a problem though. I am using the highest quality VBR for
WMA and it still doesn't sound as good... I am getting a Tin'ey effect.

Maybe it would be worth a try to
convert the .mp3 files to .wav.
