Hello, I had VOB.IFO files (from my SONY DVD Camcorder) which I converted
using Nero to MP4. I don't think I had an option to chose any other format.
Now I can't import the files into moviemaker. Any suggestions? Do I need
another piece of software to covert these files to yet another format? Please
help!!!! Thanks!!!!

Try using "Windows Media Encoder" to "convert those files to yet another
format."

"Windows Media Encoder" comes with XP and I've used it for the same type of
problem, where I could view a movie, but I couldn't use Movie Maker on it.

You can read more about "Windows Media Encoder", and even download it at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx

I am having the exact same problem using a digtial camera. All the videos I
take end up playing on qucktime and i cant change it. Does someone know what
I have to do?
