My daughter's made some good movies in MovieMaker, but
when we transfer to the mini-DV, the sound is
choppy...lots of blanks.

What gives? Tried several times, and on different cameras.

Thanks much for any help.

.
try this, try and buy more exspensive dv tapes, some dv
tapes are cheap quality, try a higher quality tape, also,
check your microphone on your camera.

Bruce,

Those symptoms usually point to a hard drive that needs some tune-up. Clear
up space, defrag and try again.
