Is version 2 for free? It appears that when I download, it says it is successful, yet when I reboot the same version shows up?

Yes, it's free. Download the installation package to your hard drive and
then run it to do the install... if it's not successful, check the
suggestions on the Problem Solving > MM2 Will Not Install page of

I have tryed the Problem solving site and went through all the steps only to get an error?

Any other suggestions. Should I uninstall the original MM?

Thanks,

Steve

If you're the same Steve as in the other post, and using Windows NT, you
can't install Movie Maker 2. It only runs on Windows XP.

If you're running Windows XP, I don't have anything more than what's on my
website.

You can't remove Movie Maker.... you have to keep going forward unless you
can use your restore feature to go back to before you first installed MM2.

I assume you're running on XP.
