I posted on the beta NG's but realized they were closing today, so I decided
to repost the same Q here. Any help would be appreciated!

Good Evening,
I was wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot. I am having trouble
using WMDC with my PPC-6700... When I plug the device into the cradle, it
correctly recognizes the RNDIS driver... but it then asks me a driver for an
unknown device... It has the TCPIP\WINDOWS_MOBILE_DEVICE signature and is
unable to locate the drivers for it. I tried FORCE installing the Windows
USB Mobile Device driver but it fails to start.
I then tried Bluetooth with the Kensington Bluetooth with EDR. I have the
latest (Vista supported) WIDCOM drivers, but it has no ActiveSync profile so
the device is unable to sync to it. Still able to do a few profiles though.
HOWEVER... if i manually start ceappmgr.exe from the
C:\Windows\WindowsMobile directory, it is able to connect to the device and
give me the list of applications installed.
I tried completely uninstalling WMDC and reintalling it... twice. I also
tried using different USB ports. I'm loosing sleep over this problem.
Please advise.
Thanks!
