Windows Mobile Center RC1 not working, we need an answer from MS!

I see that Windows Mobile Center in RC1 is not working, and from all the
posts i've seen there are no MVP's who have an answer as to when it will be
up.
Is there anyone from microsoft who can answer this question? Seems to be a
reasonable request. I'm lost without this one, may have to boot back to xp.
(hate that,,, cuz i'm really diggin new Vista)

There is a reghack to force an update to be downloaded. wmc is working here
after the hack (add a new key 'WHOS' to Hkey lm /Software/ microsoft,
connect device then go to windows update). Can't find the link to the site I
found it on, will post again if I can find it, if not I'm sure Google will
find it.

Gordon, you are awesome! That change in the registry worked just as stated. I
am now syncing my PPC-6700 with WM5.

Why do you need to be a MVP to answer this? A regular guy just found the fix
for us.
