Windows MM2 Shuts down when i add footage to timeline and or add t

somebody help me please! every time i add footage to timeline and or add titles windows mm2 shuts down and gives error message. ive tried searching for divax.af and lowered the acceleration settings but nothing seems to work. anybody got any suggestions before i go nuts! (e-mail address removed) cheers

hi mate, thanx alot for your reply. still having troubles. mm2 shutting down as soon as i add clip to the timeline and or adding titles. tried-

searching for divxaf.ax file- seach comes up- blank
tried turning down hardware acceleration
installing directx 9.0reinstalling mm2

is there any other codec problems that could be causing this crash?

thanx for the reply mate. yep all the latest directx 9 installed plus seach comes up blank for the divxaf.ax file that causes alot of problems

Hi Dave,

What about the other 17 problem codecs listed on my page? It could be any of
them, not just the divxaf.ax one. You still don't mention if you've checked
for them.

hi, been through all the codecs listed on your site and tested mm2 renaming codecs 1 at a time. found the problem to be mpeg2parser.ax. mm2 does not shut down on me but the only problem now is i cant see anything in the preview screen. any suggestions?

What file type is the footage you are adding?
