I am capturing analog video using windows movie maker.
After a few minutes MM boggs down and will not capture
the rest of the video. I click stop capture then finish
and the computer locks up. MM worked fine for some time.
The only way to spark life back into it is to soft format
my computer. Is there anything else I can do or download
to help?
================================
A few ideas...
Close all programs before opening Movie Maker.
More RAM.
Larger hard drive.
Increase the size of your virtual memory paging file.
