Greetings --

That's for disabling the messenger service, which, despite a
superficial similarity in names, has absolutely nothing to do with
disabling or uninstalling the Windows Messenger instant messaging
application.

Hi all, thanks to ras & Bruce. Went with the removal by circle C Doug Knox
(what is the circle C?). That took care of the problem, didn't like looking
at that Pawn with the red X that I couldn't turn off. Bruce I like your
signature, sounds like something from Hineline (sure to spell his name
wrong) and will be using it on all my emails from now on. Thanks again for
the prompt fix.

Greetings --

You're welcome.

"Circle C" ( © ) means that Doug Knox owns the copyright to the
material on his web pages.

And you're correct; the quote is from Robert Heinlein.
