I do not like to use any kind of instant messaging, but it
seems that Windows Messenger is installed on my PC. I
keep getting a pop up window that intrudes on what I am
doing informing me that there is a new version of Windows
Messenger that I need to install. If I click on "No", the
window simply comes back. I cannot get rid of it except
by clicking on "Yes" and then interrupting the install
process. Next time I sign on, back comes the message.
Can I get rid of Messenger, and if so, how?
If I manage to uninstall Messenger, will I continue to get
the pop up?
Any help would be much appreciated.
