Heloo?

I was wondering: it is possible to put a messenger link to web page, so
current visitors can see if I am online or not online, so they can send me a
message? How to do this?

Thank You.

Greetings,

Microsoft doesn't have anything for this, but you can use a third-party service to do this.
To put your online status on a page, check out http://www.onlinestatus.org. You can sign up
to various servers with the technology, which have a MSN client 'bot' that you add to your
list. Then, when someone accesses the URL you're given (which you can put on a web page),
they will see your online status.

If you don't want people to see your online status from the web, all you do is block the
online status 'bot', and it will show as offline.

You can also host your own online status server -- so you won't be relying on a third party.
