We are running a SIP video congferencing service (mulitpoint and the whole package). The problem we have is that users who have Windows 2000 cant send/receive video. This is becoming an issue. When will Windows Messenger 5.0 support video on Windows 2000? thanks in advance

Probably when that place down below starts seeing snowflakes :>)

More seriously, I don't think Microsoft has any such plans. Their
advice would be to migrate the 2000 clients to XP.

The inconsistency is that MSN 6.0 supports Video on w2k. Big corps wont just switch over to XP and have big installed bases on w2k.

Greetings Mike,

I don't know of any plans, but I certainly would like to see this happen personally.

Just out of curiosity, which SIP conferencing service/software/hardware is it?

Big corps will switch to XP, but not just because of Messenger.
