Hello,
I just found out that, Windows Messenger 5 wouldnt start if you've got COM+
Event System disabled and stopped in Services; whereas for WM 4.7, that
service isnt necessary to launch WM. Is there a way to start or allow WM 5
to start without executing COM+ Event System service? Thank you.

Regards

Hi Jonathan, thanx for your input. I have only 160mb of RAM on the system,
and shutting down the service could save a huge amount of memory, probably
3mb or so ? But anyway, I've got MSN 6 installed as well, I'll just use MSN
6.0 and leave WM 5 for the time being :)

Thanx and regards.

Great comment there Jonathan... That explains why I've re-installed XP for
the 56th time since November 2002 lol. See ya
