I have two Vista Ultimate machines on my home network. One is x86 and the
other is x64 but this is irrelevant as far as I can tell. They are both on
the same LAN and connected to the same router (D-Link DGL-4500). They both
have IPv6 enabled. They both use Windows Live OneCare and they both have
firewall exceptions for Meeting Space activated (I have also tried disabling
this firewall completely with no effect).
Anyway, no matter what I do, these computers can not connect to one another
through Windows Meeting Space. They can both see each other's meetings and
they can both see each other's "People Near Me" names. But they can not
connect. It always gives an error after about ten seconds saying it could
not make the connection.
I have tried connecting directly, connecting by email invitation, connecting
by file invitation...nothing works.
Does anyone have some advice for me?
Thanks,
John
