I can't remember how to view the spectrum analyser while
listening to music on the Windows Media Player. Somebody
please help I have tried everything I can think of.

I don't see a spectrum analyzer among the visualization choices, but you
might want to cycle through them.
Click the > < visualization buttons at the bottom-left of the window.

I do see an analyzer of sorts in RealOne.
