As I posted above, I lost all ability to drivers of the CD-ROM write and read, can't play or record with any style media player since installing XP. And have learned that I need to upgrade my BIOS in order to use the CD_ROM-R etc. So that may be the basic issue with anyone who can not properly use the mediaplayer to read or write to your E or D drives. It seems every time your upgrdae your OS the other software is effected and needs to be upgraded but no one tells you when you buy the stuff.
