Windows Vista Windows Media Player

I am trying to play video on a separate screen while audio is playing through head phones. I will get a little more detailed now... I am playing in a band and what I want to do is, on my computer screen I have to access my "Playlist" for the songs which have a click track and numerous other instrumentation. Then I need to have a video of pictures and movies playing on a big screen. I need to have both audio and video linked up. My problem is how do I have access to my playlist without having my Windows Media Player on the big screen at the same time. To simplify... Video only on big screen - Window Media Player on Computer.

Audio and Video have been linked together with Sony Vegas.
What setting must I have and what cables do you recommend? (S-Video HDMI?)
