how do i set windows media player as my default player?
i keep putting a cd in and the windows cd player keeps
popping up.

In WMP7 or later, go to WMP's Tools:Options:File Types (or Formats) menu
option, and fill the CD checkbox and click Apply. That should get WMP as
the default CD player.

I need the opposite. I prefer the windows cd player but
media player is launched when I put in a cd.
