Alan Moorman

I just ripped two albums, and when I asked WMP to get the album
information, everything worked fine until I got to "finish" and then
it hung up.

No joy.

This happened several times, and I'm stymied. . . .

Anyone with a solution?

Thanks,
Alan Moorman

Do you have the latest version of Media Player?

Apparently the latest version was released 4 days ago.

Try downloading and installing the latest version, this may repair errors in
your current installation.

Download from: (Assuming you're running WindowsXP)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...53-3759-40cf-80d5-cde4bbe07999&DisplayLang=en

Let us know if this helped. Good Luck

Thanks!

I installed it, and was able to get the info for the two albums
quickly and easily!

(What I don't understand is that this function used to work OK, so
perhaps the old version got corrupted...)

It's not that I think stupidity should be punishable by death.
I just think we should take the warning labels off of everything
and let the problem take care of itself.

I have never been able to get WMP to work---won't even let me add midi or
wav files from incoming emails. Grrr I want my "old" player back with the
graphics--buttons, et al.
