Windows Media Player Default

I run XP Home Edition with Media Player.

I brought a game that included Quicktime to play it.
Since installing the game, when I open videos it opens in
Qicktime rather the Media Player.

How can I change it to always open in Media PLayer.

My apologies if this is in the wrong forum but it's my
first visit here.

From MediaPlayer9 Menu Bar -> Tools -> Options -> File Types

"microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer" is the news group.
