Can my new IPOD work as a device in Windows Media Player 9? I have all my music stored in Windows Media Player 9 and do not want to start using MusicMatch or ITunes.
Yes - Xplay works great if you have your library in MP3. If the files that you have in WM Player are WMA (you ripped your music in WMA), then you would need to convert to MP3 (still using WMP for all your library management) in order to work with the ipod since the ipod does not support WMA.

Why did you buy a player that doesn't ply WMA files? Should bought the iRiver
iHP-120 instead. http://www.iriveramerica.com/
