I cannot get the main/full skin to work at all in either 9 or 10,
I had no problem with 8 but since the advent of 9 all that happens is that
it loads with no problem and the icon appears on the toolbar as per norm.
BUT....when I either D.Click on the icon or when I start from a tune title in
My Music a facsimile of the icon rockets from the Toolbar and disappears off
the top right hand corner of my screen [ sound is fine]. When I load one of
the other skins they appear as normal. I must have reloaded 9 about 5 times,
both pre and post SP2, before giving up in disgust and reverting to 8. When
10 came along I tried again with exactly the same results.
My system has a NVIDIA 5600 video card and an Audigy2ZS sound card running
throough an AMD 3200 XP and 512Mb of 3200 RAM if that is any help. All
drivers are up to date.
I am having to use WINAMP which is actually very good [ Great skins - I use
one that exactly matches my Sony Hi Fi system not like the sci fi efforts
which seem about all you can get on Mediaplayer] so it's not exactly critical
but I did like the Mediaplayer full mode and I'm curious as to what the
problem is.
