Windows Media Player 11 on VISTA not playing smoothly

Windows Media Player 11

Hi,
My Windows Media Player 11 which runs on VISTA doesnt play smoothly at the
end of each song. It plays superbly until the end and then gets stuck when
the songs are about to end.
Can anyone help?
