Hi; I have several WMV clips in a directory with the PPT file. It works
great locally. When the lcient puts the presentation with the movies on
their intranet, they cannot play the WMV clips....they don't seem to link,
even though they are in the same intranet directory as the presentation. I'm
thinking this should work, but they are having trouble. I cannot test it
here.

Anyone?

Thanks all,

Rich,

The problem you are seeing is a known PPT bug. If the pathname is to long
the video will fail to play. As a work around you could use either PFCMedia
or PFCExpress to correct it. Both of these addins detroy the long pathname
and make the link relative to the presentation folder. (A "pathless" link.)

I think the easiest one would be to use PFCExpress to create a zip file (it
will contain everything in it) and then unzip it on your server.
