Windows ME Media Scripts DL Tampered With

I have tried 2 times to download the security update for media scripts. The first time it downloaded but did not install. The second ttime it downloaded, quickly of course, but during installation a hackers's bblack box ccame up aand the installation was unsuccessfull. Now I can't get the web page to even display the patch again sso that I can try again. HELP!!!!!
 
This is a Windows 2000 Newsgroup, but anyhow only install updates from
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and NEVER from information provided in
or an attachment from an email, as they almost certainly will contain a
virus/worm. Your first course of action should be to run a virus scan on
your computer with definitions that are current to check/clean your system.
