While working on an excel file I clicked on the save icon and a pop-up screen
appeared saying that Windows had created a temporary file, that I should do
something or other and then do a 'save as' to rename the temporary file back
to its original name. I didn't pay attention to the exact instructions, I
just clicked on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the screen. When I did that
the pop-up disappeared and the file disappeared as well.
I finally found the file, which is called "D253000". But when I try to open
it a small pop-up screen appears saying the file cannot be read. When I
checked the file properties I see that the 'archive' box is checked. I tried
unchecking the archive box, and then checking the 'read only' box to no avail.
How can I open this file???Thanks
