Among automatically downloaded Windows updates on my Win'2000 system is
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. What is it? How intrusive is
it?

Meaning do you require a Net Nanny. To watch over your shoulder, tuck you
in at night and wipe spittle off your chin.

Meaning what exactly?

Just the usual juvenile attempt to imply superior intellect while
displaying a lack of courtesy and ability to answer your question.
Ignore such.
In reply to your query, The Malicious Tool Ramoval proggy is a MS tool
to remove certain viruses, etc. It can be run to see if there are any of
these certain malware proggys and remove them. It's relatively
unobtrusive and safe to use. G'day.

Thank you very much for the clarification.
