What other e-mail account's can be put on windows mail. i have my g-mail
account on there?
 
What other e-mail accounts can i add to windows mail? I know that I can't
put hotmail on it.

You CAN have hotmail set up in Windows Mail

Add a new account with a dummy email address - anything but a hotmail
address, then go into the Accounts properties and change the dummy
email address to the hotmail address.

I also have GMail, Yahoo set up in Windows Mail.
 
Just about any you want, except for a few (like free Yahoo accounts)
which have webmail access only.
 
Windows Mail doesn't support HTTP mail, which for a long time was the
only allowed access method for free Hotmail accounts.

However, in February Microsoft enabled POP access for free Hotmail/
Live/MSN accounts. Follow the settings given here:

Use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.

Although it accepts the newer Live.com addresses, Windows Mail's
account setup wizard is hard-coded to reject Hotmail and MSN addresses.
To get around that, when you enter your Hotmail/MSN email address initially,
use a fake one, such as (e-mail address removed). After the account setup is complete,
go back and correct your email address.

ok. What do I have to do to put my yahoo account on here?





Just about any you want, except for a few (like free Yahoo accounts)
which have webmail access only.
 
ok. Thank you. I was thinking that you had to have yahoo plus to check it
on something else.
