It appears that email letter default is medium, how can I change it to
Large? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open Windows Mail, choose Tools from the menu bar, select Options from
the Tools menu, click the Compose tab, In the Compose Font section
choose your poison. Click OK.

Woops! If you are referring to READING email, choose Tools menu item,
select Options from the Tools menu, click the Read tab, click the
Fonts button in the Fonts section, make your selection from the
drop-down Fonts Size list. Click OK.

Now ... HTH,

Thank you Larry buy, is the default Medium? When I first open an email it
defaults to Medium text size and I have to physically increase the size to
largest - is there a way to default to largest?

Hmmmmm ... There seems to be an issue concerning which version of
Internet Explorer you are running that impacts the ability to set the
default font size in Windows Mail. <expressive shrug>

The prevailing advice in the Windows Discussion Forum for Windows Mail
is to uninstall the Beta Versions of IE8 and IE9 and reinstall IE 7.

FWIW, I am running IE 7 and when I changed the font in Windows Mail to
Larger, it became the default font. If you are not using IE 7, Jim, I
would suggest that you might fall back to IE 7 to resolve your issue.
