Message stuck in outbox, won't allow itself to be deleted, moved or anything
else. Anybody know how to get rid of it? "unknown error" is NOT helpful and
that's all this stupid program will tell me. So - I've installed a REAL
email program (Thunderbird) that has support that doesn't cost money and is
easy to find. If anybody out there has an idea how to uninstall this junky
program that would be great. Of course, if anybody knows how to actually
delete the offending message, that would be nice too.

Why would anyone bother? You're using a "REAL" email program now and
don't need to worry about that.

Or stick with Windows Mail and run WMUtil (version 1.51) from:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,67648-order,1-page,1-c,email/www.idgconnect.com
or from:
http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx
WMUtil is a very small utility to allow users to compact and repair the
Windows Mail database in Windows Vista. It runs directly without
installation.
Options include clearing messages stuck in the Outbox and cleaning blank
files. It is one of a number of checks I run daily. I have used it since
since 22 Dec 07 and found it reliable and have had no problems with Windows
Mail since then.

Try Windows Live Mail. It's free, too, and you can use web-based email
account such as Hotmail. Windows Mail is good for connecting to users group
and that's about it.
