For some reason windows mail is not saving my email addresses in the drop
down menu when I go to send a new email. It saves it for a couple of days
and thats it. Like outlook express it would save all the email addresses in
the drop down menu and when you put the first letter of someones email
address in it would pull their email up to start a new outgoing email. How
do I activate this feature or does windows mail have it or not. I need
help......
 
Windows Mail has the auto-complete feature, but it doesn't work correctly.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
And when it does, it only remembers the last 29 addresses you used.

The newer Windows Live Mail works better.
 
I think it is on by default.
Tools - Options - Send - [x] Automatically complete email addresses when
composing
OK
