I have read many of the so called "fixes" to enable windows mail to talk to
the internet providers email account. I have comcast and have had no success
getting windows mail to work. How can web sites expect communication from
prospective customers when even HP nor Microsoft techs I spoke with can help
me get windows mail to work. I read that many of you have had the same
issue. Did any of you finally get the corect fix? Windows is good but to have
such a massive error on the new Vista commputers is totally assinine.

Parts of the setup are different for each internet provider and are best if
provided be the internet provider. That's not an error in Vista.

I see a lot of editorial talk but little in the way of a detailed description
of your issue. Every situation is different. If you get an error message,
post it here.

Commander,
A more detailed description of the problem would be helpful as stated by
Gary, but I have Comcast as well, and with the exception of losing all of my
mail last night (3 months after initial setup) my microsoft mail works fine.
I used to do tech support, and would be happy to try to help if you're still
having problems.
