Need some help. When I open Windows Mail (Vista Home Premium), the program
is looking for a dial up connection. I contacted my isp (using fiber) and
they verified that all information is set up correctly for Windows Mail to
receive email from their server. When I open the accounts tab in Windows
Mail and attemtp to click on the connections tab, Windows eventually states
that the program is not responding. Both my isp and I believe that there is
a problem with the Windows Mail program but do not know how to rectify. Any
help would be appreciated.

Sorry, that should be Windows *Live* Mail.
I shouldn't stay up past my bedtime. :-)

You're not the only one who has experienced this particular problem
recently. Unfortunately, I don't know of a fix, so my only advice is to
upgrade to Windows Mail:

Was this an upgrade to Vista?
Was a dial-up connection ever set up?
