Windows Mail

Windows Mail will not work. I cannot send emails to a windows mail address
or receive. How can I make windows mail my default mail? Is that what I
need to do? When I try to send email I get the following errors: SMTP
error-could not be found, host POP3 error could not be found. What does this
mean?

Exactly what it says. The servers you have specified are wrong.
POP3 means the receiving server and SMTP means the sending server.

It would help if you posted the entire messages but...

go...
Tools > Accounts > your email > Properties > Servers >
and specify the server names as supplied by your Internet Service
or email Provider.

To make Windows Mail your default mail go...

Tools > Optionss > General > Default Messaging Programs > etc.
