Windows Mail

Help, I have a new computer that has Windows Mail. I have my email with MSN
but it sounds like I shouldn't use it. I did get a new account with gmail but
I don't know how to make it work? Please help!!!
 
I use Mcaffe on the computer for windows vista which came with the computer
and now it sounds like you shouldn't use it?
 
I know I'm dumb, but whats OE. Does google work on windows mail if not, who
and how do I do it to make it work. Or is it OK just to use google. I have
noticed that you shouldn't use McAffee, I'm confused because thats what came
with my computer.
 
OE= Outlook Express, Microsoft's free POP mail program prior to Vista.

The term "Google" usually refers to what is arguably the best search
engine, but you probably mean their Gmail app. Yes, Gmail works with WM.

If you want trouble free email I'd recommend you get rid of it.
Your computer manufacturer included it because they were
paid to do so... usually not a good sign.

AVG or Avast is what you should use instead.
 
Unlike WinMail, OE is a POP, IMAP, or HTTP mail program.
