I seem to be having the same problems as a lot of you, and have tried some of
the suggestions, but nothing is working - it's doing my head in now. Can
anyone help please?? I cannot send or receive and i have set everything up
correctly and am getting this message -
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk',
Server: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Any help greatly received
 
Go to your mail account and click properties, under the server tab make sure
you have not selected " logon using secure password authentication"
 
There is no evidence in the error message that SPA is the problem.

Almost no one wants that box checked.
 
The incoming (POP3) server name is incorrect.
"110" is not a proper server name.
