I have a new P/C and have been using Windows Mail when my hard drive crashed
and had to be replaced. Is everything previously viewed or sent in Windows
Mail now lost or can it be recovered?

Dear Laura,
It`s very simple to clear your problem:

Go to Controlpanel, click on standardprogramms, choose: Windows E-mail,
click on it, than click on OK.
Your incoming and outgoing e-mail should work normally.

You have Windows Vista, I understand ?
Good luck and take care !

If you have the old hard drive installed as a slave then you should be able
to import from your old drive

Hello Hubert,
Thanks for your suggestion but my incoming and outgoing messages work fine
but I lost everything that I previously viewed prior to my hard drive
crashing. Can I get those messages back? and yes, I do have Vista.

Regards, Laura

Dear Laura,

To my opinion it is IMPOSSIBLE to get your earlier messages back,
I`m very sorry.

Greetings and maybe untill a next time,
Hubert.

the same thing happened to me. LATER, I found out you may be able to have
your 'server', 'shadow' your e-mails. (Mine will do it for around two
months). There's somewhere in options or accts, I think where you can
request that. I lost everything, too. Bummer, when you're trying to start
a new biz!!!

Do you have access to the old hard drive?
Was it installed on your machine as a slave?
