If I were invilved in any way,with the creation of this program,or Vista for
that matter,I would be embarrassed to admit it.I would be equally embarrassed

Posting that couldn't have done much for your self-esteem either.
 
Actually,it did not hurt my self esteem one bit.I think if a company is
going to push something,they should expect the people who get the higfh wages
to get it right.

It is a long time since working for Microsoft was a license to print money.
The wages were never particularly high and now the share options
growth has stalled.

Beside... suspect most M$ staff are now paid in Rupees.

Bill Gates is one of the biggest lobbyists for increasing the H-1B visa
quota (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H1B_visa).
That way he can get cheaper-paid foreign programmers instead of
having to pay the going wage for established US programmers.
