Can any one help me with an answer?Whay are all my recieved messages
doubled?I recieve two (2) of each message in my inbox! What is the fix?

Is it an IMAP account or a POP3 account?
 
This typically happens when you have a duplicate mail account.
Go to Tools, Accounts, and look for a duplicate.

Frank, I am having the same problem, every message is duplicated in the inbox.I have a POP3 account and have checked in Tools/accounts and see no duplicate accounts there. Thanks for any help rmhc....

Hi Gary, I also have the same problem. 2 of everything in the inbox. POP3 account and no duplicate accounts. Thanks for any help rmhc

The account may be corrupted. Delete it, restart Windows Mail,
then recreate the account from scratch.
Which antivirus are you running?
 
Only 2?

In the Advanced Properties of the account is it set to leave a copy on the
server?
If so, how long?
How often do you check mail?
