Windows Mail version

From the Help Menu of Windows Mail in Vista Premium SP2
I see that the version is 6.0.6000.16386.
When I send a message I see in the headers that the version
is 6.0.6002.18005.
Why this difference?

The latter indicates that SP2 is installed.

Does it matter? If there were a new version, don't you think you'd have
gotten it from MS during your last update? If that's your only problem
with Windows Mail, you're in good shape. Save the bandwidth for those
with real problems.
