I have had Vista and Windows Mail for awhile with no problems. Then about a
week ago one of my 3 mail accounts stopped recieving emails. The other two
ork just fine and I get no error messages for the third. It says no new
messages. I can send just fine. The account that is not working is my main
account from my ISP provider, the one that they give you from the jump. The
other two are just extra and they work just fine. Please help!!!!!

It sound like it could be the notorious non compatible
antivirus software problem... are you using Norton or McAfee?

I had Norton but when it expired, I started using spyware doctor and windows
defender. I just looked and I still had Norton installed on my computer. When
i try to go to programs and features to uninstall it, it won't let me! It
doesn't even give me the option to uninstall like the other programs on the
list.

It's a bitch.

Use the latest version of the removal tool
http://www.majorgeeks.com/Norton_Removal_Tool_SymNRT_d4749.html

Reboot.

Finally use Vista's search and type Norton and delete all it finds,
same goes for typing Symantec and delete all it finds.

Well i did all that and it is still not working. I searched for norton on the
uninstall programs list and found Norton security scan still on the list and
it still won't let me uninstall! This is so frustrating! Also, do I need to
uninstall the norton removal tool?

Get rid of it when you've finished using it.

Do you get any error message and codes when you try to receive mail?

No error messages or codes it just says no new messages, but i know I have
tons waiting to be downloaded!
