Windows Mail shuts down unexpectedly

Sometimes when I am trying to send an email the program just shuts down and I
lose what I have typed. It then restarts. This just started happening.

I recommend you upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

and also try compacting and repairing the database: www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/
