I am still trying to get a handle on Windows Mail in Vista. I am using this
system to run a number of entertainment and media components in a public
space. I want to get access to mail mail from this computer but no have
anyone who might use if for stereo etc. to check my mail. Is there a way to
set up a password or similar sign on for windows mail?

Thanks in advance

Set up the computer as a standard user account and not a Administrator
account. Use UAC to lock it down.

Might want to check the Vista General newsgroup for further ways to lock it
down.

You can't password-protect Windows Mail, but you can put a password
on your Windows user login. When you are done checking your mail,
"Switch User" to a guest user account.
