Windows Mail Screen "Locked" to the left

I decreased the size of my mail screen so that I could have two windows to
view at the same time, and now the left hand side of the Mail screen has
somehow been locked so that part of it remains hidden. I can't drag it or
resize. How do I get it to return to the full size and no longer hidden. I
can't even see my Inbox any longer.

View | Layout
Make sure Folder List is checked.
 
Frank, that is not it. It was very bizarre. It was like the window of the
Mail screen had some how gone to far to the left that part of it remained
hidden and could not be dragged back. After opening and closing mail several
times, it eventually returned to the full screen with all the folders showing
- no idea what made it go back to normal. If it ever happens again, I'll post
the problem again. Thanks.
