Windows Mail problem while connecting from company network

I use Vista Windows Mail with my laptop at home working fine.
With the same laptop and setting, it gives error while connecting from my
company network despite the internet connection was fine. Before I was able
to send and receive from the same network as well.

Could you please help?


The error as following; (Turkish)


Sunucu bağlantısı başarısız oldu. Hesap: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Sunucu:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protokol: POP3, Bağlantı Noktası: 995, Güvenli(SSL):
Evet, Yuva Hatası: 10061, Hata Numarası: 0x800CCC0E

Few if any of us can read Turkish. Can you translate it?

There's often a problem doing email when connected to your ISP
through some other company's network.
 
Translation is something like this;

The connection to the server has failed. Account:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port:
995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

I don't see anything wrong with your settings.
It may be that your company's firewall is blocking certain ports, like 995.
Try using port 110, without SSL.

Using port 110 did not solve the problem, but anyway I contacted to my
network administrator about the problem and he confirmed that it was blocked
by company's firewall.
He fixed it. It's ok now
