Ummm - I have an archive.pst file with all my outlook data (old mail and
contacts) sooo... I tried to import (from File Menu) but Windows Mail doesn't
seem to recognize .pst files? Is there a specific folder that the pst file
needs to be in or am I just not doing it right?

From what I understand, WM needs to have Outlook installed on the same
computer in order to directly import the .pst data.

Great - I'll try that and see. Kinda doesn't make much sense to have to
require people to do that but I guess...

Your pst file came from MS Office Outlook, not Outlook Express. Office
Outlook was a priced program in Windows XP (ME & 98). It is a priced program
in Windows Vista.

Once you buy Office Outlook, place your pst file in a folder under Documents
and then open Office Outlook, choose Open from the File drop down menu, and
then click on Outlook Data File. Navigate to your pst file. Set up a new
profile.
