Windows mail is slow

My windows mail works ok, but when you click on the different folders it
takes a long time to switch and then it sits there and sits there trying to
download the email in the lower half of the screen. Is there a fix for this?
The computer is up to speed on everything else.

I tried the stuff in the link you suggested and it worked. It ia running
great now. Thanks

The tutorial mentions also removing the patch...but it isn't clear if that
is just in case or if that is part of the fix. Clarity?
